Caorle Lido Altanea is new tourist destination (2000), built in what was the homonymous valley, between Porto Santa Margherita and Duna Verde, just 5 km. from Caorle (municipality to which it belongs), in a territory, always loved by tourists for its sea and landscape, rich in history and traditions. It borders the municipality of Eraclea. Characterized by low building, alternating with gardens, woodland native bush, walking and cycling paths, Lido Altanea is composed of a nucleus of houses, some hotels and several residences, a campground and some commercial areas with many shops, bars and restaurants. One important area is the gallery "La Quercia", which is also the main place of entertainment and meeting place for many tourists.
